Salience+ helps brands modernise their strategy and brand tracking using the power of Category Entry Points. Together with their sister offering, Distinctive BAT, which specialises in Distinctive Brand Asset research, they bring extensive expertise in research and tracking across two critical areas of mental availability. It works with brands globally across all categories, helping leading organisations such as Spotify, Mars Food, Canva, Unilever, Lotus Bakeries, Wells Enterprises, and Nestlé, among others, improve their understanding and application of Category Entry Points.
Salience+ was founded by Matthew Ovington (LinkedIn) and Cathal Gillen (LinkedIn), who met while working together client-side. They saw the ability of Category Entry Points to help brands create more pointed marketing strategies, as well as a better approach to measuring brand health. Building on the great thinking from the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, and thought leadership from Jenni Romaniuk, they developed a custom methodology that allowed brands to pick apart their most important Category Entry Points.
Through a deep specialism, Salience+ provides its clients with the research tools, clarity and expertise to improve levels of Mental Availability.
